Send DaybreakFolio a verifiable update on a story we have covered, a correction to one of our global-affairs pieces or an idea for an explainer.
Point us to the passage, and give the place and date involved. Please make clear what you saw or heard yourself and what is your reading of events, because we check the two in different ways.
Publishers and research organisations proposing a partnership should explain the purpose and say who funds the work.
Think carefully before naming a source or describing a sensitive location in an unsolicited message. If someone could be harmed by being identified, leave the identifying details out and tell us that they exist.
We assess what can be checked. We cannot reply to every tip and do not work to a fixed response schedule. The contact details are on this page.
